Lola Picó: Artista Autodidacta y Terapeuta
Nacida en Barcelona, Lola Picó ha dedicado más de 30 años al desarrollo de la creatividad y el crecimiento espiritual, fusionando su pasión por el arte con herramientas terapéuticas como la Programación Neurolingüística (PNL), la Hipnosis Ericksoniana y el Reiki. Además, se formó en Constelaciones Familiares con Svagito Liebermeister en Barcelona y en la Universidad CUDEC en México bajo la guía de Bert Hellinger.
Su trayectoria refleja una profunda búsqueda de autoconocimiento y transformación personal, marcada por experiencias significativas como su estancia en un ashram en la India, donde profundizó en la meditación y la introspección.
Su carrera como artista comenzó en Barcelona, donde, impulsada por su creatividad, trabajó durante años como maquillista en moda, publicidad, televisión y cine, especializándose en efectos especiales.
Hace treinta años, Lola se estableció en México, dedicando su tiempo por completo a explorar su capacidad creativa y artística. Durante dos décadas, vivió en San Miguel de Allende, donde fundó un estudio ShowRoom y fue socia de la galería de arte "Magenta". Además, fundó centros de apoyo emocional y espiritual, colaborando con instituciones como el DIF, el Instituto de la Mujer y Justicia Alternativa, ofreciendo servicios como consteladora.
Actualmente, Lola reside en Ajijic, Jalisco, a orillas del Lago de Chapala, un entorno que la inspira profundamente para continuar creando. Sus obras han sido expuestas en diversas ciudades y forman parte de colecciones privadas en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Perú, Puerto Rico, España, Argentina, Holanda y México, entre otros países. Desde 2022, su obra es representada por la galería de arte 1819 en Madrid.
Lola también se dedica a la facilitación de talleres de Constelaciones Familiares, Arte Terapia, Creatividad y Círculos de Aprendizaje enfocados en el bienestar del alma y el espíritu. Born in Barcelona, Lola Picó has dedicated more than 30 years to the development of creativity and spiritual growth, fusing her passion for art with therapeutic tools such as Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Ericksonian Hypnosis and Reiki. Her career reflects a deep search for self-knowledge and personal transformation, marked by significant experiences such as her stay at an ashram in India, where she delved into meditation and introspection.
Her career as an artist began in Barcelona, where, driven by her creativity, she worked for years as a makeup artist in fashion, advertising, television and film, specializing in special effects.
Thirty years ago, Lola settled in Mexico, devoting her time entirely to exploring her creative and artistic ability. For two decades, she lived in San Miguel de Allende, where she founded a ShowRoom studio and was a partner in the "Magenta" art gallery. In addition, she founded emotional and spiritual support centers, collaborating with institutions such as the DIF, the Institute of Women and Alternative Justice, offering services as a constellator.
Currently, Lola resides in Ajijic, Jalisco, on the shores of Lake Chapala, an environment that deeply inspires her to continue creating. Her works have been exhibited in various cities and are part of private collections in the United States, Canada, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Argentina, Holland and Mexico, among other countries. Since 2022, her work is represented by the 1819 art gallery in Madrid.
Lola is also dedicated to facilitating Family Constellations, Art Therapy, Creativity and Learning Circles workshops focused on the well-being of the soul and spirit. Profundizar en lo intangible no es tarea fácil. Para abstraerse primero hay que experimentar en la materia para plasmarla con maestría e intención. Lola Picó corresponde en sus lienzos a una traducción del sentir llevada a la superficie de su obra.
Texturas y paleta que se encuentran sobre la sólida base del sentir. Algunos símbolos elegante y sutilmente se introducen en muchas de sus piezas para hablarnos aun más de aquello que se está traduciendo desde el alma.

The art of Lola Pico
Delving into the intangible is not an easy task. To abstract oneself, one first has to experiment with the matter to capture it with mastery and intention. Lola Picó corresponds in her canvases to a translation of feelings brought to the surface of her work.
Textures and palette that are on the solid foundation of feeling. Some elegant and subtly symbols are introduced in many of her pieces to speak to us even more of what is being translated from the soul.
On her work we can observe a constant evolution in her materials and palettes without neglecting her very particular accent.
Picó carries her artistic instinct developed by years of experience now with great results in her career with invitations to international performances.
